J'Nette Miller, APRN, FNP-C
Family Medicine, Functional Medicine, IV Therapy
J’Nett has been in the health care field for over twenty years. She started as a dental assistant where she worked until her sister Celeste was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. It was then that she decided to become a Registered Nurse with a passion to diminish or eliminate human suffering.
This started her journey and drive to really understand Functional Medicine, in particular autoimmune disease and gut. She received her Associate of Science Degree at Peninsula College and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at The University of Washington. Along the way, J’Nett has worked in Med/Surg, PCU, Telemetry, Lung Transplants, Thoracic Surgeries and Hospice. After working as an RN for 10 years, because of her genuine passion for learning and serving humanity, she received her Master’s Degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner through South University. She has worked in this capacity in Women’s Health, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Hormone Therapy and Integrated Wellness.
As you sit down and talk with J’Nett, you will quickly learn that she has a huge passion for knowledge and is always studying and learning. That, along with her desire to tackle chronic conditions like autoimmunity, gut problems, adrenal fatigue, etc., make her another welcome addition to the Balanced Health Care team.
J’Nett enjoys health and fitness and successfully ran the St. George Marathon in 2015 which sparked a love for Washington County, where she now resides with 2 of her 7 children and her amazing husband Dr. Miller.
